i would like to no from other sellers if a basic store for 20 dollars is worth it ,i sell in many catagories collectables coins is it worth it im guessing it would cost the 19.99 for the store so that means i have to sell 60.00 bucks worth of stuff to make a couple bucks, being that 25 percent goes to ebay and paypal just for a start, and is the store good for us 200 listings and 200 for canada??? real lack of free listings these days so im loosing out and ebay is also loosing out but they are very greedy on there profiits, and want everyone to sell million dollar diamonds,i sell on .com free 50 listings and .ca 50 free but the sparse free listigs lateley is quite ignorantant of there greed,to pay for the store basic is like 20 bucks,so if you do the math you have to sell many 10 buck items to pay those fees, you sell 1 item for 10 bnuck plus shipping u loose 4 dollars so now your bill is 25.00 minus a couple bucks im thinking you can never get aheasd, you start in a deficit of 20 buck you make a 20 buck sale now you owe 25 bucks hmmmm,so how much do you have to sell before you make a dollar, being that what you owe and the 25 percent ebay pay pal ect take away ,would it be safe to say you need to sell 60.00 bucks just to get into the proffit margin of maybe a buck er 2

From a final value fee view, the FVF rate drops from 10% for a non-store to at least 9% saving 1% and for coins 6% saving 4%. So every item sold saves a small amount that helps reduce you store monthly cost. The store will never cost you $19.99 a month, it will cost $17 or $15 or $13 with what you save. So never think of it costing $19.99 a month, it is always less.
Please note that the FVF rate savings is also on the shipping cost in the listings if you charge separately for shipping. So the savings add up faster.
Tip. Did you just get the store? I see you have one now. All your listings that were started before you got the store will have the non-store FVF rate of 10% used if they sell so you will not save anything with the new lower store FVF rates. You must end all the old listings and relist for the new rates to take effect.

Lower FVF's 1 - 4% lower
Lower Listing Fees
More "free" listings
Do the math and then add in the intangibles, Markdown Manager, Vacation Settings, Custom Categories etc.

The coin fvf if you have a store is 6% vs 10% but as others mentioned the best thing is for you to do the math since you are more familiar with your sales and how often you list etc.
If you decide to go ahead, start with the monthly rate rather than committing yourself to a year.
p.s. please use paragraphs as it makes a post much easier to read.

YES.

From a purely dollars and cents standpoint, not always. From the point of view of the work altering benefits, far and away it is worth it.
Using Femme's 17¢ per minute, minimum wage calculation, a store pays for itself after about 4 minutes every day through work savings.
My store saves me hours every day.
That is not counting the features that go along with a store. The vacation feature is fantastic.
