I bid on a small item with free shipping. After I bid, my item appeared in my ebay with $2 shipping. I called ebay, and they said that it was $2 shipping (because the support rep was in USA). When she went to ebay.ca, she saw the free shipping, but could not fix the problem, so I had to retract my bid.
I think this is a bug in the website.
1. The shipping price on the item page and the shipping page should always match.
2. You should be able to provide your own explanation of why you retracted a bid, if non of the provided answers match. In this case, I had to say that I made a mistake entering the price, even though I did not.
3. Support reps should be able to fix problems like this without me having to retract a bid with an inaccurate reason.
