monthly free listings and Good Til Cancelled

I just wanted to double check with you guys because I've never used Good Til Cancelled before.  I want to change the items I list using the 50 free per month from manual renewal to GTC.  The two are compatible, aren't they?  (I realize I'll have to watch the renewal dates to make sure they don't double up by accidentally shifting to day 1 of a 31 day month,)

The GTC listings automatically renew on Day 30. So they will move (slowly) from Day One of the newest month to Day 30. Although we all hope the product will sell before that.

If opening and closing on a specific date is important to you, then GTC is probably more work than it is worth.  To my mind, the whole point of GTC is to avoid manual relisting. Stick it up and let it ride items work better.

So using GTC for my free 50 each month works with no hitches? 

(except for the already mentioned travelling renewal date)
