purchased 2 "buy it now" for same item by mistake

I was paying for a dvd via "buy it now."  The computer froze and in my impatience and techno-illiteracy, I must have pressed the back button. Somehow I ended up purchasing two of the same.

I emailed the seller right away. Is there anyway I can retract my bid? What are my options?  Thanks

You did the right thing in contacting the seller. She can cancel your second purchase (It's not a "bid" on Buy It Now).

She will send you a request for a Mutual Cancellation. Agree immediately and the transaction is voided. Both of you should leave cheerful and positive feedback.

Give her some time to answer you. It is the weekend. A looong weekend at that (except for those of us who work in Quebec.)
