A true professional, or Nutbar Factor 6?
Remember the strange story of 23-year-old Maygan Sensenberger and her husband, 69-year-old Senator Rod Zimmer?
The attractive native of Ontario has made her film debut, as part of Ottawa's Digi60 film festival, in First Ladies. Sensenberger plays the lead role, Grand Mother — the head of ...
It's not Skyfall. iPolitics calls it "The weirdest thing you'll ever see."
But for a short film in a community film festival, it's, well, creative.
The producer of First Ladies, Jo Roulston, says Sensenberger was "exceptional" in her portrayal of Grand Mother, and was a pleasure to work with.
"Maygan was a true professional, she told Yahoo! Canada News.
"She was early to auditions, in costume and make-up for the set, lines memorized, helpful towards the cast and crew, she even helped us pack up after the shoot ! In other words,
perfect."
Roulston adds that Sensenberger could have a future in acting.
"We are working on [a feature film] now," she said.
"We have a role for Maygan in this feature, if she is interested."

North America run by women?
Well, they couldn't screw it up any worse than the men have.

Um, my brain went numb pretty quickly, and started to digest itself. This film could be used to extract confessions when interrogating political prisoners.

Along with the "Saw" series of films.
Never saw one but i heard they are pretty gross.

It’s a dry black comedy. It was never meant to be of Hollywood calibre. The acting is amateurish and that’s what the producer or director was looking for, along the same lines as Harper’s appearance on Corner Gas.
In First Ladies the message is ‘what if women were in power’. In Corner Gas it showed Harper’s tradition of flip flopping on political promises to gain votes….. even if it was about gophers and prairie dogs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sVAKYsHo5-s
The difference is, in the short First Ladies,s they knew it was a black comedy. In Corner Gas, Harper didn’t have a clue that they were giving insight into him….they probably just said ‘be yourself’, to which he replied "without a script!! But, but I always have a script"!
