refund&shipping not received from seller yet

Hello e-bay family,

What can be done if I received 19 items, but 3 were broken when i received them?  I contacted the seller and they asked for pictures as proof.  I took pictures and they asked me to pls send back the 3 broken items and to ensure i get a tracking# as they will not refund me for the 3 items or shipping without it.   I went to Canada Post and did as they required.  I sent the tracking# etc--and seller said that once they rcv'd items--they would refund me in full.   I watched the tracking etc---and it seemed to take forever as it was International.   I mailed the items to China at the end of October 2014..... they finally arrived in China Dec 27, 2014.  I contacted Canada Post to place a claim---as the delivery has still not shown as accepted in China & the seller keeps telling me they can not do anything til they receive the item.

Problem is that this has been going on for a few months now---and i still have not seen any money.  What do I do?

Please Help,

Mizzdakota2004

You are past the 45 days that eBay and Paypal allowed for a refund on return. The Dispute could have been filed through the Resolution Centre on Day 44 after purchase and that would have extended the process for a few more weeks.

But.

Basically the seller led you on until the deadline passed.

The seller will never refund you.

EBay and Paypal have no contractual agreement to help at this point.

You have also passed the 60 day limit for leaving feedback and Detailed Seller Ratings.

You can leave a Response to any feedback you or the seller previously left, indefinitely. The most effective Responses are calm and factual.

'Returned for refund. No money no response' for example.

You might be able to get a refund from the credit card you really paid with. (Paypal is just a mediator) Phone the 1-800 customer service number on the back of the card and ask the rep about a chargeback.

Cards have longer deadlines but they do have deadlines.

In future, never order anything from Asia that you would not be willing to throw away if it is Not As Described. Trying for a refund is too expensive in time or money.
