Someone has made an offer on an item just prior to its expiry.  How do I counter-offer of accept?

Which do you want to do, - accept the person's offer, or make a counter offer?

If you accept, then the item is considered sold at the person's suggested price.  If you make a counter offer, your potential buyer can then decide if he wants to accept, whereby he can decline your offer, accept your offer, or just ignore it and let it expire in 48 hours.
