what happens when you keep getting non payers and you have manny such transactions,

at least once  every couple weeks i get non payers,so dont hve much recourse but to open a case,these people will not respond,does this look bad on your record with ebay

You can configure your listings to have "immediate payment required" added. That way, until your item is paid for, the listing stays up for anyone else. You can also tweak your listing settings so that those with unpaid item strikes cannot bid or purchase, you can regulate those with low or no feedback, etc. Might be an idea, just to weed out those who treat it as a lark.

the increase in non paying bidders really increased after ebay stopped allowing sellers to leave negative feedback.

the only recourse is to open unpaid item case, so you can retrieve your fees.
