5 Business days is about right, I am in Alberta (Medicine Hat) and 90% of anything I send out east arrives in that time. I sent some dvds on Monday and they arrived by Thursday. Possibly Canada Post is just getting efficient 🙂

If you are using Expedited Parcel to send your package and the five-day delivery deadline is blown by CPC mishandling along the way, you can appeal to have your money back at the shipper because their on-time delivery guarantee was not met. The link to do so is here https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/kb/details.page?article=request_a_refund_for&cattype=kb&cat=receivi... at the bottom of the page.

I sometimes find it takes less time for Canada Post to send to US than it does across Canada....

Personally I wouldn't **bleep** about 5 days BC to Ontario....that is very reasonable for regular mail....express post & especially priority post should be much faster though.....but it also depends on whether it is major centre to major centre...eg. priority post Vancouver to say Toronto should be 2 days...if say you had it dlvd. to Ingersoll On. that could be for sure be 1 more day (possibly 2 more)...eg. I just mailed via reg. post 3 cd data disks from Brantford to Ingersoll....we put much larger postage on it than needed, it was posted @ 5pm Tues...our contact received it in his Fri. mail (some 45 miles maybe)...another thing you should know mail is now not sorted @ these smaller centre post offices in many cases it is bagged & sent from Brantford to Stoney Creek (Hamilton) to be processed....our Brantford mail letter carrier is also sorted in Stoney Creek also....not just a Brantford sort but it is also sorted for each letter carrier's individual route..nothing is per-say done locally anymore (we are only 90,000 strong but still not big enough)
