Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place - is it even possible to make a comment on something you bought on ebay like there is on other e-commerce sites? I bought an item recently and there was absolutely no problem with the item quality, price, shipping time, etc, but I bought the item assuming I could modify it (flash new firmware) but it turns out for technical reasons I can't, and it would be extremely useful for other potential buyers to know this. If I had known it, I would not have made the purchase.
I can rate the transaction along the lines of "did it arrive on time" and my "user experience" and I can also write a very short comment that I guess becomes part of the record of this transaction but other people looking at this item on the seller's store will not be able (I don't think) to even see my comment about the product unless they go and read the user feedback.
