Havent recieved refund after money back garuantee (its almost been a month).

Seller sold item that broke under normal use in 30 days so Ebay closed the refund in my favor. However I havent recieved any refund.

The seller also sarcastically told me congrats on the refund- but to not celebrate it. Did he close his paypal?

You did receive a message from ebay saying that you had been refunded?  The refund would go back to your original funding source so if you paid with a credit card, it would go there and if you paid with a Paypal balance it would go there. Have you checked the funding source?

Oh geez I did recieve the refund. Do I need to send the item back now? I never recieved notification.

No. You only have to send an item back if the seller requested that you send it back in order to be refunded.   If the item was not as described (broken etc.) then the seller also has to pay for return shipping so if you were not sent a return label and you have been refunded, you are not expected to return the item.
