So, long story short.... I bought a diet supplement from a seller in California and the item is being stuck in this centre since Sept 2nd, and the delivery message appears as "Undeliverable - Item restricted at Global Shipping Center". After reviewing the restricted items list (https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/shipping-items/setting-shipping-options/global-shipping-program?id...) I don't see how a diet supplement will fall into any of these categories. So I started a refund "hoping" that they will return the item back to the seller, but it won't happen because ebay doesn't even know that they have the item lost at their facilities since they sent me a "reminder" to send the item back....

I'm reaching out to the community to see what other options I have, or if the item is truly lost in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately I made the choice of buying it through ebay since in Amazon.ca it was sold out. I've bought other health supplements from Spain, Latvia and never had this issue before.

Any input you guys have will be highly appreciated.

You should have opened a "I haven't received it yet" case with the ebay resolution centre.

Then ask ebay to step in with a request for a GSP specialist.

Note: you need to wait until the promised delivery time period has ended to open an Item-Not-Received claim.

When the GSP receives an item that they will not forward to the buyer, you would normally be refunded automatically. I'm not sure why you haven't been though if you started your 'return/refund request' right after you received the notice saying that they would not forward the item, that may have bugged up the system. If you just found out that they are not going to forward it, its possible that you will be refunded in the next day or so. If it's been a while you might want to contact customer service at twitter or facebook.

Thanks for your reply @pjcdn2005. I would've thought the same, do the automatic refund after initiating the request. I'll proceed to contact the resolution centre first to get a resolution.

There have been so many messages on here about buyers from out of the USA or GB that

buy from sellers on the GSP. DO NOT ! It is a very flawed system and prone to all kinds of

inconveniences. Message a seller that is on the program and ask if they will ship with USPS.

Some will, some won't and some have no clue ! Longer shipping times, lost in transit, item restricted or undeliverable are just a few of the problems with the GSP. Just resist the temptation to buy from the GSP .
