Package returned to seller for ''Incomplete Adress'' but the address is correct

So I bought something recently and yesterday when I checked the tracking I noticed the package had been turned back and sent back due to ''Incomplete adress''. However my adress is 100% correct, I receive multiple packages every week for work and it's the same address I've been using on Ebay for 5 years, never had this problem before. The seller printed a shipping label from EBay so using the correct address on file. So what happens now? There is no way I'm paying for shipping again since it came from the US and was already pretty expensive, and my adress was correct so most likely an error from Post Canada? And I suppose the seller won't want to pay again or refund me fully? The package is now already turned back in another province so I can't call the post office to check. Who in this case would take the loss of the shipping cost? I'm still waiting for the seller's response.

You can confirm with seller address was correct and also check with Canadapost for clarification. (It may have be an accidental typo if info was filled in manually.) Usually when a ticket is opened with the post office it must be created by the shipper, but wouldn't hurt to check. It may be too late to have it re-routed back to you.
