Refunds ?

I purchased a baseball card, well, at least I thought I did. At the very end of subject line it was written "digital card". I didn't notice that, nor have I ever even heard of something like that. Seller also wrote something like that in the item description, which I also did not read. They also stipulated a no refund policy if someone were to think that they were actually purchasing a physical card. Apparently I am one of many other buyers that have made this same error and purchased a digital card. They too never even heard of such a thing. Can I not get a full refund. I never actually received anything. I was asked to download an app to receive this "not a real" baseball trading card. Can I get a full refund back???

You can give it a try but somehow I don't think this will end in your favor if the seller states "digital card" in  the description, so trying to get a refund for "not as described" won't fly. You may want to research this "digital" card thing on the internet....

Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject will come along and offer some guidance and/or assistance.

You're not going to receive anything if you don't download the app and provide the seller with the relevant information they want from it.

Digital baseball cards do appear to be a "thing," at least on eBay.  I entered "digital ba" into the eBay search bar and it auto-completed to "digital baseball cards."  While I think it's a bit scummy of the seller to take advantage of buyers who didn't read the listing closely enough, they're certainly within their rights (at least on eBay) to do so.

Digital items are also generally not eligible for coverage under eBay's Money Back Guarantee program (check the listing page to see if it applies to your sale), so you're probably not going to be able to get any help from eBay if you're unable to download the app and follow the seller's instructions to get your item.

The seller seems to be pretty firm about their no refund policy.  I guess they've been burned by too many buyers abusing their refund privileges, so they've had to come down hard on those making "accidental" purchases.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  Hope this wasn't an expensive lesson.

Wow, never heard of digital cards before. Just did a search on .com using 'digital card' and got 53,000+ listings in the collectable category.  I can't wait to they start showing up at the local thrift store!

Digital cards? That's what Donald Trump was selling.

So  assume it's a scam.

Lay down with dogs, get up with fleas.

The Money Back Guarantee does not cover digital transactions.

Wait estimated delivery time is past and open an item not received case.

I don't think the buyer can do that if the sale isn't covered by the Money Back Guarantee.
