Seller not shipping $400 item; won’t respond to messages

This is the second time a seller hasn’t shipped an item in the timeframe specified in the purchase. I’ve waited over a week for him to ship it and yet he hasn’t. I’m out $400 and I can’t file until Jul 3. What can I do?

Also eBay admins if you could look at this guy

This guy issued a fake tracking number and now looking at his profile he’s manipulating his profile by selling tons of low cost items (to himself probably) and leaving tons of fake reviews.

It’s possible that the seller shipped but hasn’t marked that it has been shipped...have you tried contacting them?

If you paid through your PP account you may be able to file an item not received claim through them  before the eta though I would probably wait a while first.

The seller does not appear to have any current listings.

Since you have already contacted the seller and since of his 14* negative or neutral feedback, several mention non-delivery, go to your Paypal account and open an Item Not Received dispute in theirResolution Centre which is hidden under Tools at the top of your account page.

Ignore the suggestion that you contact the buyer since you have already done that.

Escalate to a Claim as soon as you are allowed.

If the seller cannot prove delivery (not shipping , delivery) you will be refunded.

I'm not too concerned that a single buyer purchased dozens of tea bags at a penny apiece, but the 90% feedback should have been a warning.

Generally it is not a good idea to buy from sellers with feedback under 98% (99% if overseas).

And if the feedback number seems poor, you can read the actual comments by clicking on the number in the chart, which will pull up all the negs or neutrals.

*Two of his FB are actually positive words posted as neg/neutral.
