I noticed there are a few sellers who won't sell batteries to Canada stating they are dangerous goods. I know there are issues with batteries being shipped, but why would Canada be the exception, yet they ship no problem to the US?
It makes no sense to me.

What sort of batteries are we talking about here?

lithium ion. I realize that many airlines and courier companies have restricted or banned shipping them, but it made no sense to me that he will ship to the US and not Canada. Usually if an seller from Asia ships to the US, they will ship to Canada (we're like.. right on top).

They probably do not delare them as batteries or hazardous, and have found that far fewer get stopped by US customs than by Canada customs. Therefore they have decided that the percentages do not favour aselling to Canada but losses are small enough to justify sales to the USA.
I have no idea if this is true, but it seems reasonable and could be one answer.
