Hi i buy 500$usd i pay 44$usd for import charge but the seller dont send with GSP send directly with USPS so when the package will come here in Canada i wil have to pay second time for import charge and pitnew bowes take the money and they did not do anything the seller tell doest know what to do is 75 year old dont know nothing about all day so look i will lost over 44$usd to pitney bowe and i will have to pay when the package get home here in Canada + shipping ;(

you need to get a hold of pitney bowes, they will have to reimburse you. the seller probably doesn't even know they are enrolled in gsp.

Your seller may have been enrolled in the GSP by default and does not know that she is supposed to send the purchase to Erlanger KY.

When the parcel arrives, you will need to contact Pitney Bowes/GSP and have them refund the import fees that you were charged in error.

Since the item was sent by USPS, you should, in the long run, only be out about $5 the difference between the GSP service charge (~$5) and the Canada Post service charge ($9.95).

Just to be clear-- the shipment is coming directly to you and not to Erlanger KY? It is normal for the first leg of the trip to be by USPS, from the seller to the GPS plant. Then it is transferred to Canada and usually delivered to you by Canada Post.

Contact the Seller, there is a link on the original listing,and explain what is happening. If she is able to learn from this, it will help both er and future buyers.

If she isn't,  that's what feedback is for.

Are you absolutely positive the seller shipped direct?  When did they ship? Do you have a tracking number?  If you follow the tracking and see the parcel is being routed through Erlanger Kentucky then your seller HAS shipped though the GSP system and you should not be expected to pay anything else when it arrives.

I can only now suggest you phone customer service at eBay to explain this situation and please be sure to ask them to please enter this information in their system and provide you a reference number.  It was NOT your fault the seller messed up with not using GSP to ship.  If the customer service rep does not understand or you are not happy with their suggestions, politely thank them, end the call, and phone right back. You will eventually  find a rep who understands and can help.  The sooner you call and the sooner they make note of your situation, the better.  Please return to this board/thread with any other questions you may have.
