Sorry, my english is not good and I don't know well about ebay.
I want to bid on an article, but they don't ship to Canada.
I sent a message and they said to me
"If you want this particular item, you can purchase it and go thru ebay’s shipping program."
What does that mean to purchase it and go thru ebay's shipping program?
I'd like some help because I really want to bid on.
Thanks
Francis

Avoid this auction, the Seller does not know how to ship.
eBay does have a Global Shipping Program which sellers in the USA and the UK can use.
The Seller must set up the GSP as one of their shipping options.
If the auction is displaying that the Seller does not ship to Canada -- then GSP is not set up for shipping.

When you purchase through the gsp the seller sends the package to the Kentucky gsp depot so perhaps in their mind they aren’t shipping internationally. Or, they are just confused...
If you want the item just go ahead and purchase it and they should send it to the gsp depot who will then forward it to you. If for some reason the seller is totally at a loss of what to do, you will get your money back.

Ahah! I'm extremly confused too, because I don't know well about ebay.
I'll copy and past the email they sent to me
"None of the items listed ships international unless you are using ebays international shipping system. We have plenty of people purchasing around the world and using the eBay shipping on a regular basis knowing we can. It ship direct."
I'm not the one who have to use ebays international shipping system, THEY have to use it, no?
Sorry if I persist, but I think I'll just bid of it, because I REALLY want it
Thanks
Francis

Maybe they mean, once I purshase the item, I need to select GSP option for shipping?

They may think that you are asking them to bypass the gsp and ship directly to them because they have been asked that before. If you are willing to pay the charges then I wouldn’t worry about what the seller said...just go ahead and buy. Make sure though that you put the item in a cart first so that you can see all charges including the import charges before you commit to buy. Those charges can be fairly high.

There will only be one shipping option on a gsp listing.

Do these words appear on the listing when you look at it on a laptop or desktop AND in List View .
Customs services and international tracking provided
Or on the listing under Payments:
