Good morning!

Sitting here watching Charlotte's Web with my DD7. What a wonderful message of friendship, and of looking beyond the surface into the soul.

Going fishing today, as yesterday proved to be too windy and rainy. Hope to be yelling "Fish ON!" several times. :^O

10 lbs? Wow, that must have been quite a struggle to reel in! Is muskie edible or do you just do catch & release?

Just catch and release, Lulu. Never ate a muskie before. HUbs caught a burbot. Ugly thing, but tastes like lobster. Dinner's on! 🙂

Eeewwwwww, do you meant "barbotte", i.e. catfish? Can't stand the smell of those things (not to mention the taste) but my Dad used to relish eating those. Can you tell I'm not a big fish fanatac? LOL

I'm not sure but I don't think we have Muskie here in B.C. When I used to fish a lot all we caught was trout and kokanee in lakes and salmon, cod, and dogfish in the salt chuck.

In any case, - way to go!

Hi Julie. Nice catch today...but by looking back a few posts I think Ralph got a lot better catch ...and I mean alot better 😉

Lulu...actually, Burbot is related to the cod. It has an eel-like tail, leopard spotted skin...and teeth. *shudders* But they put up a great fight!

Got to the hit the hay...sitting here loading turbo lister, listening to CBC Quirks and Quarks, yacking on four different message sites (one ebay Christian, one Geo-polictical history site , one science message board and a business message board). and I wonder why my thoughts are all over the place...I think I just just messaged a discussion on string theory that the evidence of the English fishermen of Bristol in the 13th century had maps which included the east coast of North America does not have valid foundation (the discussion was touching on the stories of Prince Henry Sinclair coming to North America at that time - no evidence by the way) .. they were not impressed with that injection into their science conversation..lol.....time to stop multi-tasking and go to bed...good night.
