Hmmm, well do you feel guilt of some sort over something you have done in the past???
That would usually be the reason.
Funny I just can't figure it out ,maybe someone else can help out or forgive you.

SIDE BY SIDE
They lie on the table side by side,
The Holy Bible and the TV guide.
One is well worn and cherished with pride, Not the Bible . . . but the TV guide.
One is used daily to help folks decide,
No, not the Bible . . . but the TV guide.
As the pages are turned, what shall they see, Oh, what does it matter, turn on the TV.
Then confusion reigns, they can't all agree, On what they should watch on the old TV.
So they open the book in which they confide, No, not the Bible . . . but the TV guide.
The Word of God is seldom read,
Maybe a verse as they fall into bed.
Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be, Not from reading the Bible . . . from watching TV.
So then back to the table side by side,
Lie the Holy Bible and the TV guide.
No time for prayer, no time for the Word, The plan of Salvation is seldom heard.
But forgiveness of sin, so full and free, Is found in the Bible . . . not on TV.

Lovely day here too Christine--what a blessing. I can see some clouds on the horizon though--I am hoping we don't cloud over. I hope to see the lunar eclipse this morning (its about 3:37). It is the first lunar eclipse visible in Victoria for 3 years so I am setting my alarm clock. On the other hand, DH is having a little nap and hoping it is raining by the time he gets up so he doesn't have to water the plants.

The day is going beautifully. Just had lunch--DD and my grandsons are coming over and it is nice sunny day, so we should have some nice beach time. Enjoy your time with your kids--summer seems like it will be forever and then suddenly it is almost Labor Day.

A belated Happy Birthday to MLM's dear husband. Hope it was a good one.

Hi Nancy! Lovely to "see" you. Doesn't sound awful at all---just visits from the GSs remind us how we treasure our time with just us. Hope your health is improving--and I hope you all have a wonderful visit together. I am feeling very envious--I will need details!

((((MLM)))) just hugging you--I know that you are wise and are handling it all very well, but I know those days of saying goodbye to our children, whether it is the kindergarten school bus, or waving goodbye to them at the dorm can be very poignant. I know you must be so proud. You and your DH have done an outstanding job. Good luck to your DD.
