Re: Halifax NS Arrest Postal Protesters

I drove by the protest in Winnipeg last Saturday.   Everything was very quiet.  Nobody was on the road blocking traffic.

There were two small plaques.  The most significant  one referred to eBay.

There was no real indication they were there in support of the postal union.  They were close to the Human Rights Museum in downtown Winnipeg,  which was far away, many miles away,  from Canada Post's  processing facility right beside the airport in Winnipeg.

Re: Halifax NS Arrest Postal Protesters

As with all areas in life, it’s how one goes about making their point that has as much impact as the point itself. These protesters must have messed up fairly badly to get arrested. Done properly, a peaceful protest is just that and police don’t want to get involved unless they absolutely must. I wonder at what went wrong behind-the-scenes for this to occur.

Re: Halifax NS Arrest Postal Protesters

Good riddance. Now repeat the process everywhere else where they are impeding business.
