Good morning everyone!
It sure feels like spring outside. I am not complaining! Springlike weather in January is always welcome. 🙂
We each bought a pair of snowshoes and got to try them yesterday for the first time. Love them! They are very light and will be perfect for walking in the bush and field.
We also went to see the movie "Life of Pi", we both enjoyed it very much.
Enjoy the weather while it last. 🙂

Good Morning, another -30 morning here.great day to sit and do the ebay promo.
Hubby got called to work,so I can do as I please today with no interuptions.
My hubby retired a few years ago,but due to the lack of tradespeople here in Sask. he was talked into going back to work as a HDM contractor. So gets called for major breakdowns. It's kinda nice.He can pick and choose when he wants too work. LOL

Hiya Nan!
Yep ... it's those temps around here too. LOL Not quite minus (-30) but close enough. It's been warming some throughout the day today though.
Nice that your hubby can pick and choose ... that's really important, that we feel we have choices in life.
We're still trying to resolve a colour issue with the facial cream PLUS working on an issue with the worlds best cream (to get the NPN number, we have had to make some changes that according to Health Canada will improve the cream in their world. *sigh*) Every time they make a change ... we have days of testing and changes to make ... they are a nuisance! For instance ... did you know that "natural" items are no longer considered capable of doing anything at all ... only pharmaceuticals (approved by the pharmaceutical community and by health canada) can work effectively to affect the overall performance????
Ah well ... we do what has to be done and then we move on!
I wish you:
Smiles when sadness invades you.
Confidence when you have doubts.
Comfort when you need it most.
Friends to light up your life.
Rainbows to climb up to the heavens on.

Hiya Claire:
Yep that snow shoe-ing certainly is fun. My Mom was a huge fan and made all of us try it as well. LOL She would spend the entire day outside on her snow shoes.
I wish you:
Smiles when sadness invades you.
Confidence when you have doubts.
Comfort when you need it most.

Jannie, we both enjoy walking a lot but during the winter months we are limited to staying on the road but no longer...now we can go for that walk in the bush anytime of the year. 🙂
01-14-2013 08:47 AM
Good Morning,
Jannie Hope you get things sorted out.
Claire you have me thinking about snowshoeing 🙂
01-16-2013 04:14 AM
Morning all.....Susan we love our new home and yes I hope to stay for a while.
We have had mild weather in the east. Yes when I was in Harris Sask I experienced -40. No need for me to repeat that. Less than a day's drive, in Fredericton, temps drop to -20s. The ocean has that much influence......makes us nearly tropical compared to inland.
Dentist appt. today then off to work.
01-16-2013 08:15 AM
It's minus (-16) with 81% humidity ... at 7AM in the morning! LOL
Nan: it always does get sorted out ... just a bit of frustration during this stage of the game.
Marian: it must be challenging to drive such a short distance and experience weather changes like that.
Good Night & Good Morning!
Have a fantabulous day, everyone!
I wish you:

Good Night & Good Morning!
???
You mean you had not been to bed yet when you posted your comment?
Just got back from the gym.. dentist appointment this afternoon...guess which one I prefer. 🙂
Have a great day!

Good morning, Marian, Jannie, Claire, Nan, Susan ( I saw you here somewhere!!) and all 🙂
Busy day here, and beautiful weather out there.
And no chance to make a batch of inciteful ( as opposed to insightful ) muffins today, either; maybe tomorrow 😉
01-16-2013 03:50 PM
hi all...Claire I had my dentist appt. this morning. Came home from work to go to bed (lot of pain and freezing). Told no food for lunch just soup and soft dinner. So I am having one pound of seared scallops with lemon juice. Yummy...suitable pancea for dental work. 😄
01-16-2013 03:54 PM
Hi! Nice quiet day here. Light relaxing snow falling. And the house to myself 🙂
Hope you all are also having a good day!
01-16-2013 04:00 PM
scallops all gone....6 minutes! Savour the flavour!
01-16-2013 05:12 PM
YUMMMM I love scallops. But we can only get them frozen here 😞
01-16-2013 05:50 PM
Marian, it was just a scheduled six month visit and no cavities (Yeah!).
Love scallops too. We ate some really good ones last summer at a restaurant in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. The best ones I ever had!

Evening..>Sherry what's your mantra, Lord put your arm around my shoulders and a hand over my mouth, lol.
Dental appointments now require a lot of fixing for me...with retirement looming, I need to finish what I can while I have coverage.
One thing we are blessed with in Halifax is access to seafood, usually fresh. Love it, fin-fish not so much.
We had 12cm of snow yesterday followed by a day of melting. Tonight we are expecting more...temp from +7 to -12 in less than 24 hours. Tell ya ya gotta be hardy here to take the temp fluctuations alone.
01-17-2013 06:11 PM
Lucky you, Marion, I could live on seafood! Love scallops, shrimps, crab, lobster and the only fin-fish I really like is fresh caught perch or walleye from the lake. I'd love to visit eastern Canada again, haven't been there in years. With DD and GD in Alberta all my trips are to the west now.
01-17-2013 06:57 PM
well Maggie, here's hoping we save you some for your next trip east. 😄
01-18-2013 03:01 AM
Wow! Busy board! Love it!
Claire: yes, I was still going to bed at that point. Happens around here sometimes.
Hello to everyone!
Sherri: still would like an answer to my earlier question ... if you happen to read this ... please refer back? I'd appreciate it.
Well, another uneventful day ... Paul came home early this week ... his radiator needed fixing, so he got a couple of days down time. That suits me fine. LOL
Josh is finally taking school seriously ... grade 12 is a little late for that, of course ... but ... with college looming next year all of a sudden he realizes that he has to buckle down some. LOL
We now have all of the forms filed for the arthritic cream and for the muscle balm ... 3 months from now we should have our NPN numbers and then the products will launch in ernest. At least I'm hoping that there will not be any more of these minor detail changes that have to happen yet.
We've met and exceeded all of their criteria and we've done it without having to put in pharmaceuticals. Now we wait. Did I mention that I'm not really good at waiting? LOL
Minus (-16) degrees at 2AM with 83% humidity ... it's been very humid this winter!
Good Night & Good Morning!
Have a fantabulous day! (((((((((((everyone)))))))))))))
