I think the time is quickly approaching where ebay sellers make a box-town-and-performance-art-protest using all of our ebay-branded shipping supplies. Just think how magnificent it would be, built and staged somewhere we could be as disruptive as possible to the protests taking place.

Yes, or make tape bodies (like mummified remains but with branded packaging tape) and have them strewn about in advanced stages of starvation amidst the cardboard boxes we're now forced to live in on the streets due to the postal strife.
I'm going to start a new thread about this.

What would happen if eBay sellers showed at the Postal facility in British Columbia and wearing eBay logos from eBay boxes.....
and then the trucks were "escorted " past the labor people...
Can this action in British Columbia be viewed as a continuation of the strike?
The police have chosen not to intervene ..... perhaps to minimize the start of a labor "war" across Canada.
We do not want this to occur elsewhere.
The problem with this action is that Mike Palecek, the head of CUPW, says this is acceptable... Palecek's words could be a problem for him, and in relation to the back-to-work legislation.

This was a point I made immediately. The gentleman seems to me to be writing the book on the all reasons Canada Post unionized employees maybe should have their right-to-strike permanently relinquished, as if it's a personal self-fulfilling prophecy of his.
No tact, no ability to see past the next step on the path is what I see here. It'd be sad for him if I wasn't directly affected by this situation without having any control over it.

A new thought.....
Is there a husband and wife somewhere in Canada, where one works for Canada Post and the other sells on eBay?

Likely the President asked these other unions to protest & take the action they are taking. Thankfully it is only in BC which for the most part would not affect me here in Manitoba unless we are shipping something to BC. However if this type of action spreads we are back to a square one again.
I would think he would need to be very careful with what he says & does. Seems to me there were some penalties/fines in the government's legislation for non-compliance. He could be flirting with it. Does make me wonder when back to normal will be.

This happened when there was a labor conference in British Columbia.
The people taking part in this action are the management of many unions.
