When does Ebay remit GST/HST to CRA for previous years sales?

Looking for some info on when Ebay will remit the GST/HST collected on my sales to Canada.

When filling out my GST/HST return, I included the amount Ebay collected according to my sales transactions but after filing my return CRA says that I owe them money as the installment payments havent been recieved from ebay?

Anyone have an idea when they might submit them for me?

I'm not a tax professional, so you should consider what I say to be wrong and talk with one.

With that out of the way, eBay has said that they collect and remit the taxes UNDER THEIR OWN TAX NUMBERS. That means they are not collecting it for you so to speak, they are meeting the Federal requirements for it to be collected and remitted. The form we sign (and eBay countersigns) gives them permission to collect and remit it so we don't have to. If they were collecting it for you under your GST number, they would also be passing those taxes on to you to remit, which they don't.

You can still claim the business-related tax YOU PAY for things like store fees, final value fees, promoted listing fees, etc along with all the other usual stuff.

Edited to add: Further to this, you wouldn't claim the tax collected on your sales anyway. That's a sale to the end user. If you weren't doing that and you were filling out the form saying that YOU had collected that money, then of course they would expect you to remit it.
