Ebay is in need of an overall

They have no customer service for sellers. Website really doesn't contain all information. They refund to buyers items lost in the mail. They transfer you numerous times when you call it. The staff is undertrained. Thinking might be time to quit them as they suck

The item they lost in the mail, was it sent via Lettermail? How was it shipped?

The Seller is responsible until the item is delivered, if it is not it's called an Item Not Received!

Is that your real issue?

 Customer service leaves a lot to be desered for most online selling sites these days... IF you want to be in complete control of everything best to have your own website or sell via local avenues because those are the only ways I know of  where you are in charge of "customer service" and all aspects of the selling/shipping/delivery processes...

The phone clerks are poorly trained by the subcontractor in Utah. They do not work for eBay nor do they have much in the way of authority.

The eBay employees use social media Chats.

If you get a Not Received claim, you must put the tracking number into the Claim that shows delivery. All your items seem to be bulky enough to require parcel service.  Regular/Expedited domestic shipping is automatically tracked.

While the cheapest tracked rate to the USA is Tracked Packet USA, the untracked Small Packet USA is sometimes mistaken for tracked and treated as such by USPS.

 

Do you have a Solutions for Small Business account with Canada Post? You get some discounts for using it.

I am with you Sanni. you are 100% that the seller has zero support. Most of the E BAy staff read from a screen and nothing more a bunch of people that do not care. half og them you can not even understand. i thinking the same as you
