Managed Payments JOKE - Weeks of no payouts & no effective support have ruined my trust in eBay :/

I've been waiting for payouts since Managed Payments began. Thats well over a month now. eBay Canada are sitting on nearly $1000 of payouts. I've spoken with 3 reps who asked me to update my bank details on three separate occasions and then assured me the payments would go through. Days later nothing.

Further to the above the Trustly platform for linking my eBay account to RBC fails at the security question (despite my answer being correct) so I've had to enter my bank details manually each time. I've tried two different browers, two different computers and operating systems to not avail. I suggested this bug might be the reason that no micro deposits have ever been deposited in my account  but once again they assured me that re-entering my bank details manually would be fine and I would receive the payouts. Again Nothing

I've now removed all my listings and will not conduct further business with eBay until they figure this out. Meantime I've spent 4+ hours in chat with them to no avail.

Managed Payments have been a disaster and eBay are at risk of a Class Action suit. The sooner the better I say! eBays careless disregard and lack of effective support during this 'Managed' transition is an insult to sellers and the eBay community at large.

PS: I've been a seller on eBay for 18 years but I guess thats pretty much all over now.

Contrary to your belief, eBay is NOT "at risk of a Class Action suit."

Yes, I agree the MP system has been disasterous for many sellers and the lack of knowlegeable support staff has been pathetic.

The useless tech and the lack of any financial/business/Managed Payment system assistance or support staff is horrific.

The incompetence is mind-boggling.

I am one who chose NOT to sign up for MP and to walk away from selling on eBay until they get this Mangled Payment system running smoothly. I will not be party to any of this so I chose not to be one of their guinea pigs and play in their cess pool of mistakes/problems,glitches...etc,etc.

If and when things get sorted out, I may return to selling on eBay, but in the meantime I have other venues where I have put 1400+ listings.

I found Chat was very helpful.

All of my Selling accounts had problems, and the first was a month and a half to clear up.

It turned out the problem was that someone (eBay) which had set up the MP bank before I could choose which one I wanted to use had put the RBC institution number on a TD account.

So check all those numbers again.

On another the problem was "solved" when I went to a different bank, not just account, a different bank and not one I wanted to use.

On another I had the wrong birthday . That took seconds to fix.

Actually I don't think there were any problems with the last one.

For what it's worth, as soon as the problems were fixed, the money was successfully transferred.
