UNFAIR - (ebay allows USA Sellers to list an item as NEW (other) and CAD Sellers as OPENBOX item.

Why is it that USA sellers have this option and CAD sellers do not - the search results show a big difference in placement of listings - most USA sellers rank higher because of this unfairness on eBay's part.

The options for Canadian sellers have been decreasing for several years. Between condition and categories it's become very noticable. They (eBay) states levelling the playing field. It's had an opposite affect. Especially when it comes to that placement. Internationally is the only place Canadians may have a slight advantage. Unsure how many buyers sort that way. If eBay gets their act together and let's show the level 4 discounts (if they choose) it will make a definite difference. (Factoring in a comparison between small packet air and tracked.)
