Watchlist limit lowered to 200

Why did the number of items you can add to the watchlist get lowered to 200?

It always was published as limited to 200 and then somehow the limit quietly increased to 300. Has it dropped again?

It seems. I had about 220 items in my watchlist then when I tried adding more it was saying it's full, so I tried deleting some stuff until it was below 200, and then I was able to add more. I've deleted more stuff and haven't gone beyond 200 since making this topic though.

Allowing a Watch List of even 200 items is the reason I don't much care if there are any Watchers on my items.

Hi @organixzombie - while each list is capped at 200 items, you can maintain up to 49 different watch lists in addition to the default list and wish list. 

If you're hitting that total cap, you'll unfortunately need to choose some items to cut out. Thanks!
