Hi Tyler, I have been unable to print a shipping label with the newly announced eBay method? When I try I get the error in the attached picture.
I usually use Shippo, but since I will have to switch to Managed Payments soon, and Shippo only takes PayPal or Credit Card, I would like to use the new eBay system.
Is the new system live yet? If not will it be ready before July?

Tyler, we are still having problems with the "same day shipping" message on our listings. I sent an email to eBay today and they said that can't see it. If you check the community board under that title, you will be able to see a screen shot of one of my listings, and for sure it says "same day shipping" in red. eBay told me to bulk change the shipping time to 4 days, I have now done that 3 times but it hasn't changed on the listings. Will you please look into this for me and the other sellers with this problem.

Hello Tyler,
When a package is delayed or possibly lost, one of the pieces of information that is required to create a service ticket with Canadapost is the customers email address. After 2 weeks this information is missing from the original sale information(Also in Paypal). Could the time length be extended to make completing a service ticket easier. We really shouldn't need to call a customer to get a valid email address. For International mail 2 weeks is not enough time especially during a pandemic.

PS. For International Mail the service ticket is created in Canada and forwarded to the applicable country for investigation.

Hi @flyhooks4less - I haven't heard anything, but I've checked with shipping to see if I can get a date as to when it will be available and will let you know as I hear back!

Hi @triber - I reviewed that thread earlier this morning and I agree with folks that it looks like its just happening for folks with addresses in Canada while on eBay Canada. I'm still working on this, but I really appreciate you taking the time to get screenshots and troubleshooting steps of what you've done laid out. It helps when working with the tech teams involved.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies - this is interesting feedback. I'll take it back to the Seller Hub team to see if that's a change that can be made easily or if there are any alternative solutions other than manual recordkeeping at time of sale. Thanks!

Hi @flyhooks4less - we got lucky and heard back really quickly on this one!
The reason you're hitting this error is that the shipping tool hasn't launched yet (they're working through final QA). They told me to definitely expect it before July, but in the 'most ideal' situation that it could roll out within a few weeks. So I'll keep my fingers crossed, and hope you will too, because I'm excited to see the new tool. 🙂
