Re: May 22nd 2019 Weekly Session

Hi Tyler,  Nice to have you back.  I have been having a problem with eBay making duplicate listings of some of my auction items when I relist them. I never had this problem until this year. Has happened twice now.  I phoned CS to complain & they said they would look into this for me. Never heard back from anyone & it was never corrected. I had to manually cancel all the duplicates, one by one. It took me awhile to do. I am afraid to relist any of my auction items now as it makes so much work for me to correct.  Thanks

Re: May 22nd 2019 Weekly Session

I received the  message below last night but only noticed it after I came back from the post office. I ship once a week from New York because sadly it's way faster and much cheaper, but I don't have time to check my emails before I leave.  I only check to see if I have new sales to make sure they get shipped that day.

"I am really sorry but my kid got to my account and order the item. I need to kindly cancel this order."

So I was wondering if they want to send it back who is responsible for the shipping cost. The item was only 99 cents so the shipping would be more then the item itself

Hi @2nd-time-around-jewelry - will you send me a private message with an item number of two as an example? I want to look into this one further, as that shouldn't be happening.

Hi @bunbar - the reason for return will determine who we'd ask to pay for return shipping.

From an eBay perspective if they contacted us, we'd typically advise them to open a return with the 'ordered wrong item' reason. That would require they purchase return shipping.

I'm wondering, though, if a 'return to sender' option would be simpler for everyone involved?  I couldn't officially advise you to do it (as it would void the buyer's protection through the Money Back Guarantee), but if it's only 99 cents, and you're planning on issuing a refund anyway it may make things quicker and easier.
