A buyer sent me a message that they want to cancel the sale, have already paid. How do I do that?

What is the correct process to cancel a sale, buyer changed mind, and refund their money, and not get a defect.  Where do I go to find out how to do it?  Can you walk me through.  Never had that before.

Hi I called ebay and they walked me through it.  Basically you refund in paypal, then go back to ebay and put in the cancel and put the reason as buyer requested.
