Just a heads up, over the past 2-3 days, my account was locked down twice.
The first time I had to change my password after Ebay made my then password null and void. The second time Ebay wouldn't let me back in until I contacted customer support.
For some reason, Ebay is now considering my mobile phone and desktop computer logins as new devices.
I spoke to the customer service rep and told her nothing in my account was touched. As far as I've checked, there is no malware or viruses on my devices and I have no VPN.
My phone and desktop are the same devices I've been using for the past year (new phone) and 4 years (desktop PC).
I did tell customer service I'm using (as I have aways) Microsoft Edge on my PC. I did tell them lately, when I create content, the words I type in sometimes disappear off my screen (but are still there invisible).
The customer rep is forwarding this problem and my lockdown issues to the tech team.
For now, I've turned on the 2-step verification. Hopefully this will prevent any future lockdowns.

You should absolutely have some form of 2 factor authentication on anyway. As for new logins, if the eBay cookies disappear for whatever reason, it'll do that. It appears to go by the browser rather than the computer. Logging in on another browser but same computer will likely cause this. Logging in via one of the privacy modes may do this. Having your cookies cleared (either manually with clearing the cache or maybe by your antivirus software) will probably do this.
In this case, I would assume eBay detected something weird and probably expired your current logins to protect you (and them). That would make sense as to why you had to contact them.
As for the content disappearing, yes, that is very annoying. In Edge you could try turning off the writing assistance stuff under Languages in the Settings. Can't see any reason it would hurt to try. Maybe something is conflicting with eBay's scripts.

I have had in the past this exact same problem and was solved when i realized that everytime i turn my computer off and restart my software clears all my cookies and anything esle that was done in login features and i have to start over again -- now i just turn my computer off once a day at night after iam done everything -- i found this out from my chess program i play on it's forum advising newbies what to do and not do using chess.com to play so now all is fixed just every morning i have sign in and go through all their questions till ebay fires as usuall
