There is an option on the seller dashboard to access a "Sales Report". Unfortunately, when I click it, it says I cannot access the sales report feature because I am not subscribed. When I try to subscribe and click the link associated, an error page is displayed.
There is a total year to date sales amount at the bottom of the dashboard page, but this is listed in US$. Not sure why that is, when it's the CAD site???
I can't use PayPal to calculate Ebay sales, since I have sales from other sources. I don't do any official bookkeeping, so is there a way to easily summarize sales in Ebay?

I'm somewhat confused as to where exactly you are seeing this download sales report link. I assume you must be using Seller Hub by now? Here is the link https://www.ebay.ca/sh/ovw
Within Seller Hub, the Orders page provides a means to download the last 90 days of sales info. As far as I know there is no subscription needed to use the feature. I downloaded my report just now which took only a few seconds to do.
Currently Paypal remains the only reliable source for sales data. Converting downloaded reports to Excel files makes filtering of the data possible.

Looks like another feature ebay.ca does not yet have.
ebay.com does have a working help file (ebay.ca is just a broken link) -- but it looks like a store subscription of a certain level is required before you can access it.

For the New Year Resolution List:
Keep records at least monthly, preferably daily in a form that will withstand a power outage.
