I got my first return request the other night. The buyer thought there was something missing or broken but it was fine just needed to explain how it worked. I wrote them explained that it was not broken & how it worked also saying I would accept the return but to let me know how much it would cost to return to me. They emailed me back tonight saying they had made a slight adjustment to the item, were now very pleased with it & wanted to keep it. Am I required by eBay to do anything with this or us there something the buyer needs to close this?

Oh wow, that's excellent, I was totally bummed that you were going to have to give this guy's daughter such a nice gift. So I guess this means you are back to "Zero Returns" again. 🙂

They were actually quite thrilled with. They had a jeweler friend adjust it slightly so there was more room between the stones for the hook to fit. He said the vintage necklace looks great with the vintage. dress she is wearing to prom & he is going to send me a pic. So nice when things work out positively for everyone. Just not sure if I (or him) has to do anything to settle out the return request.

Just inform the buyer , actually ask the buyer if he could close the dispute. You can wait for the expired time but it is a while ( I cant remember how long it is) and your money will remain on hold till the dispute ( return request ) is closed

There must be a way for the buyer to close the return because one of my buyers opened a return and then closed it a few minutes later.
If a tracking number is not entered within the next week or so, you should be able to get the return closed if you phone ebay. Or, you can wait 30ish days and ebay will automatically close it.
