Buyer has not paid and my item has been removed

Hello,

I have accepted an offer from a buyer but have not received the payment after 2 days. Then my item has been removed for an unknown reason so I am unable to open a case.

What should I do? I do not want to pay fees for this item

Thank you,

Buyer has not paid and my item has been removed

There are two different problems here.

The buyer has not paid.

Unless the seller (you) is US-based, the buyer has up to 96 hours (four days) to pay before the seller can open an Unpaid Item Dispute.

The listing has been closed by eBay.

This could be two situations.

EBay closed down the listing because it is not allowed. Examples are mystery auctions, selling PPE, VeRO brand owner complaints, items that are not accepted for sale on eBay (like Playboy after a certain date).

If that is the case, do NOT attempt to relist the item. EBay may be right or may be wrong, but it is their site. Trying to list a "banned" item will get you kicked off the site permanently.

More likely the item is no longer listed because it is sold.

Go to the top right corner ->My eBay-> dropdown menu->Selling-> Orders.

The sold but unpaid item should be there.

When the 96 hours is up, you can open a Dispute in the Resolution Centre at the bottom of the page. You will need the transaction number from the Orders list.

The buyer then has another 96 hours to pay up.

If she doesn't you close the Dispute and your Final Value (selling ) Fees are refunded.
