I Had a buyer tell me he disagreed with my grading system for vinyl records and requested a refund. I sent the customer a cut and pasted of the grading system and asked him how he wanted me to proceed and he dropped four negatives on my site. When I asked for a revision he revised to neutral and said he would change to positive after receiving a refund. I did refund but was told by ebay they could not remove two of the neutrals even though the buyer abused the system. I had all postive until this person decided to pull the trigger because I never refunded him fast enough. After 18 years on E Bay I am getting fed up with my inability to talk to a real person anymore for help on the last two neutral feedbacks.

No seller deserves an unwwarranted neutral or negative...unfortuantely eBay doesn't recognize when these types of feedback deserve to be removed and/or should be removed. I should think that potential and/or future buyers will see this for what it is and there should be no impact on your sales going forward. I am sure it won't be long before that smear on your record turns a page or 2 and gets buried in all those beautiful positives >all the goodness will shine through.

If you have this is writing report the Buyer for FEEDBACK Extortion, you will get the FB removed...

Talk to an actual employee (not a subcontractor on the phone) about FEEDBACK EXTORTION.

Not only is it possible to get both the negs and the neutrals removed, but the buyer may get Strikes against his buying account, which may make it more difficult to buy on eBay in future.
