I had a buyer message me today saying they tried to pay 2 different ways for an item and couldn't. The item was sold by a best offer that I accepted. They now want to cancel the order. Has anyone else experienced this problem recently? If this is a technical problem of some sort it is very serious and needs to be fixed ASAP as I can not afford to lose sales due to issues like this. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help the buyer pay? Thanks.

you can send an invoice directly from paypal, then mark the item as paid once they pay your invoice.

In checking the dot ca eBay status link, everything is "supposed" to be working properly. You may want to phone the eBay helpline and point out the problem so they can get to the bottom of things.

There was/is a thread on the .com forum last week complaining of buyers messaging that they were unable to pay for their orders, multiple sellers and buyers have reported this problem.

take the buyers email from the order details page on ebay. then go to paypal, and send a request for funds/payment..
