This has been a prevalent issue for me since I started selling. At the start January of this year and up to now, I am missing 50 feedbacks. How can I persuade the buyer to do this courtesy - something I shouldnt have to ask and ask.
Would be nice that I get a higher discount if these 50 buyers actually did their end.

And then as a Seller, you have to option to leave:
Positive Feedback. This buyer was very slow to pay and refused to communicate.
No No NO NO!
Leaving a false positive can have two effects:
The buyer can have it removed.
When eBay removes it, you get a Defect.
And Defects, not feedback are what eBay uses to assess seller accounts.
Who do you think reads feedback?
Not the buyer. He doesn't care what you think of him.
Not other sellers. We don't see feedback until the buyer has bought.*
The only reader is likely to be your future buyers.
Who just backbuttoned away from a seller who badmouths his buyers and who Violated an eBay protocol to do so.
*Auctioneers might, for those who bid early. But Auctions are only 15% of transactions and most of those have Buy It Now options. To say nothing of last nano-second snipers.

What do other seasoned seller do when presented with Private FB? Let's say from buyers who are feeling out an OBO?

Just saying it is an option if someone wanted to. I've never done that and never would. Like they say, if you can't say something nice, best not to say anything at all!!!
