According to the April 20th update Denmark is still possible and on the "service available" list. Lettermail service is available for all the countries on that list, there are some restrictions for parcels (Xpresspost, International Parcel Air).

If Small Packet is okay then Lettermail should also be okay, but do expect some delays.
Denmark is now in the slow process of coming out of lockdown.

I could actually send Small Pkt Airmail and it’s even10 cents cheaper than Lettermail but I was thinking that Lettermail would be faster since it wouldn’t get held up in Customs. Or should I send Small Pkt Air? Will it get on a plane faster?
Lettermail would be faster through customs, but I have no idea who gets to board a plane first these days.
Personally, I lean towards lettermail just because I have a lot of discounted stamps to use up and I prefer using labels for small packet rather than stamps (one of my quirks).
One way to choose: Flip a coin.

Small Packet IS LetterPost, they would both likely get the same priority in terms of space on a plane.
Customs isn't likely much on issue for Denmark.
