But since the buyer is unresponsive, and you gave her the choice of two replacements, I wonder if that could be considered as Buyer Request?
Like all those sketchey companies that continue a subscription if your don't actually refuse to continue it?

If you cancel the transaction, you are not supposed to get a late shipment 'ding' at all. I use the term 'not supposed to ' because the system doesn't always work as it should. But even if it shows as late on your orders page it shouldn't transfer over to your late shipping metric.
