Can't Update Name in Account Holder Field in Account Details - Ebay System Issue

Any ideas on how to get Ebay CSR/tech support to remove my name in the "Account holder" field in the  "Account Details" page? 

I'm in Canada with a Canadian address and bank account and  sold my personal item to a fellow Canadian.  I set up my Ebay account through Ebay.com a long time ago, and my bank account was previously verified.  I believe this is my first sale in 8 years (?).

The Ebay system automatically puts my name without my middle initial in the "Account holder" field when I click the link "Update account details."  And the field is in grey so I can't make any changes.

Ebay's system needs to show my middle initial in order to match my name in my bank account.

I have chatted with 2 CSRs, talked on the phone with 2 more, and email corresponded with 3 more.  None of them understand the problem.  They all tell me the standard make sure my bank and Ebay details match (doh!), I need to have a Canadian address and bank account, I need to add a credit card for payment, I need to update my account details (doh!), send screenshots of the problem, etc.  

The 7th CSR Vikrant said to "click on "+ Add Payment Option"" and if there are still issues "please do take the screen shots and share it with us."

I replied to Vikrant on Oct 6 with the same pics sent to the other CSRs, and a new video (MOV) to show what is the problem.  I put in caps and italicized what is the problem and pointed I had already explained it to the other CSRs and they had all gave me the same responses which do not address the problem and I need a manager/supervisor to step in.

There's been no reply.  I sent a reminder.  I sent a separate email to ebayhelp.  I sent another help request through the Ebay site on Oct 12 (got a we'll get back to you as soon as we can).  Nothing.  

My payout is stuck so any suggestions?  Thanks.

Yes.

EBay (for legal reasons, I gather) insists that all three accounts (bank, eBay and Managed Payments) have the exact same name.

If your name is John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith,

you cannot have a bank account as J J  Jingleheimer Smith ,

a Managed Payment account as John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith,

and an eBay account as JJJ Smith.

So what you need is to have your eBay account name updated to include your middle initial so that it matches your bank account and your Managed Payments account?

FWIW- I had trouble with two of my four accounts when getting these all set up, but when they finally were, all the money I was owed was promptly transferred to my checking account.

When you go to accounts / personal information and click edit next to personal information you are not able to change your name there? Those fields are not greyed out for me.

You said that your bank account was verified years ago but that wasn't for Managed Payments as sellers funds were sent to PayPal in those days.  Have you already linked your chequing account with Managed Payments?  If you haven't you should be able to change your name when you do that.  

My name on eBay was a shortened version of my legal  name on my bank account.  I didn't realize that at first but I did manage to change it through the managed payments set up.  I  don't see  a place to do that now that it's set up but I 'think' what I did was delete my payment info and then added my bank account  again.  During that process I was  able to correct my name,  but that over a year ago so I'm not sure if the process is the same now.

If you do want to delete your banking info so that you can try setting it up again you can do by going to sellers hub / payments / payout settings.

btw I did correct my name on my eBay personal info page after I set up my bank account but it did not carry over ti the MP setup. That's why I set it up again.
