I would be nervous shipping anything to Columbia. Had one adventure through work shipping there via Fedex and last word the burro got lost somewhere between Bogota and Medellin. Unfortunately the item was required for a sales presentation and we didn't get the order.

Always a good idea before completing orders to some of the above listing countries the banned items list for mailing at the Canadapost website.
The webpage below also includes other documentation that could be required for mailing to these countries.
https://www.canadapost.ca/tools/pg/manual/pgIntDest-e.asp?
Import Restrictions - Russian Federation
Senders should determine import restrictions from the country's authorities before posting:
Columbia list of restricted items includes Antiques, Used Clothing and Toys Representing Arms etc.

Not a problem. Have to wait and see if the particular matching resource pages, Canadapost postage calculator and Shippo get updated in May to match those new services.

Tracked Packet to Japan is showing on my listings, as expected, today. Happy dance.

Columbia. Had one adventure through work shipping there via Fedex
Of course this could be a failure of FedEx, rather than a failure of the Columbia Post Office.
FedEx Canada is unable to ship to many addresses in Canada and sub-contracts to Canada Post.

I'm curious about Russia. Toys are on the list of 'restricted' but not 'prohibited' items. I cannot imagine the reason for that but to whom would I direct my queries on the subject? My local Member of Parliament? Global Affairs directly? I called the latter once and was heartily impressed how quickly and efficiently they answered my question but the question was about some detail of passports or something.
