Received a request for return Monday, approved it, buyer is returning item.
Today eBay sends me a message stating I need to respond by tomorrow? I did all ready by agreeing to the return....message states that if I don't take care of it they will decide it for me. I haven't received the item back yet, so I haven't refunded the buyer.
Tried to call, phone lines are down...now what? I don't want a ding on my record for not resolving the issue.

Is the return request for a not as described reason? If so, the buyer could be waiting for postage from you.??

Has the buyer responded ?
Keep trying to call Ebay. Phones can't be down too long. Or did you call on their Off hours?
