I have listing that are variations , (55 of them ) and have been all good since Sept / 22 till Feb 24/23 and now when i try to add items or change prices i get a " Parallel/Variety is not allowed as a variation specific." Error !

i Contacted E-bay 4 days ago and nothing has changed ?!?! i Can't do anything except sell whats listed on the listing till everything is out of stock . any one else having this problem ?? or know a work around ? as i don't want to spend hours rewriting every listing ! ( takes me about half hour to a hour for each one ) .

I got this in my eBay messages:

Multi SKU variant options will be removed
To reduce buyer confusion and create a more consistent shopping experience across Item Conditions, condition-and grade-related variants (e.g., "very good," "good," "Grade A," "Grade B") as custom multi-SKU variant options will be removed in the listing experience for the categories found here. This change will occur on March 6th, 2023 and it will be permanent.

To ensure a smooth transition on March 6th, we encourage you to remove conditions and grades as variants in your listings starting today, and to update your item descriptions to accurately describe the product condition.

For any listings with condition or grade related Multi-SKU variants within these categories, you will need to create new listings for each variation by March 6th, 2023. After this date any listings still containing condition or grade related Multi-Sku variants will be ended.

If you use a third-party tool to manage your listings on eBay, we recommend you work with your third-party partner to update your existing listings or to create new ones before the dates above based on category. If you use eBay listing tools, we recommend the following approach:

•
Create a new listing for each condition variation (Grade A, Grade B, etc.) in the Used item condition.

•	Identify the condition variation in your listing title and item description. Examples of a strong title: "Dell Desktop 16GB RAM 512GB SSD 3.3GHZ Intel QuadCore Integrated Graphics Windows 10 Grade A"

Best i can see its not a SKU issue as i don't use SKU in my listings.

More i look at it its more they don't like the words "Parallel/Variety " , as i found one of my listings (66) i didn't use "Parallel/Variety " i type " clear cut " ( hockey card type ) and that one is still fine !

Very confused on why a word or words like " Parallel/Variety " is not allowed ? And should have to force me into rewritting 55 listings ! as parallel can't be remove or deletes all enteries and pics

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure. I think they're trying to make some of the listings easier for search engines, and making everyone else adapt is probably easier (for them) than making their code adapt. Since I'm not sure exactly how the new system works, I'm probably just going to abandon using any multi-listings entirely.

Confusing message but I think it applies only to items in the categories in link given. They don't want you to have one listing with variations that are graded or have different conditions. I wouldn't have thought that would affect the op's trading cards listings but I could be wrong.

Well, I got the message in my lettermail store presumably for 2 listings for board game partouts. I ended up just ending the listings and I'll redo them some day when I get ~~bored~~ more in to list.
