Doing auctions without promo working out alot better

Well this time around so far my auctions seem to be doing much better then last time with no promo and free shipping instead of $3.99 for shipping ..

Had one buyer say I way overcharge them for shipping when actually after all was said and done shipping and handling cost me $3.05 so boooo to them thinking I way overcharged them .. I actually did that to make is so the buyers didn't payu tax on the initial $3.99 but alot of people didn't like the no combined shipping because really I wanted to start my auctions with a price of 3.99 but thought I would save my buyers some money and yes that is wrong but I thought I was being nice apparanetly not though ... Also I wanted to trying something different and see how it worked..

This time around my auctions are catching more money and buyers are ending up paying more then last time from price to tax ...

I wonder when the day is going to come when a buyer writes me and says hey shipping is not free how much do I owe you LOL .....

Either way atleast there doing much better this time around .. Going to run a few test auctions on ebid next week if this 14 days run of shifts ever ends boooooooooo to overtime

"with no promo"

Do you mean you paid full listing fees for all your auction listings?

I checked one of the auction listings and it states "no Combined shipping on Auctions"

Why?  Does it not make sense to offer combined shipping so buyers buy more than one item from you at the same time?

"did that to make is so the buyers didn't pay tax on the initial $3.99 "

???

Not sure what you mean.  If shipping to the USA, American buyers do not pay tax in any case.  If shipping to Canada, the shipping and handling charge ($3.99) is fully taxable at the same rate as the item, depending on the province of residence of the buyer (13% in ON, NL and NB, 15% in NS, etc...).

I have been offering "free shipping" for many years on all my eBay listings and it has happened to me several times.
