i recentley made a post naming the scammer , thief and liar that ripped me off of over $600.00 and e bay deleted the name of the person that i named .

they said that it violates e bay policy .

that to me means that they are hiding and protecting scammers , thiefs , liars , cheats and dead beets that are a parasite on sellers on this site ,

how is a seller to know who he or she is dealing with ?

are we forced to wait to be scammed and robbed to find out ?

i as a seller should have the rite to name who robbed and ripped me off on this site so others can avoid them.

what do you folks think ?

You were not robbed.

You were involved in a Not As Described dispute and did not follow through on the instructions you were given about getting your product returned before you refunded.

The effect of not following instructions was that the buyer was refunded without being required to return the item and the refund was taken from your account.

This is the third thread in which you have had this explained to you.

And while we're explaining things again:

You categorized a damaged item that had had some repair work done on it as "used". eBay does not define "used" items as ones that have damage severe enough to warrant repairs.

You may have described this damage thoroughly in the item description, but the description did not jive with what eBay defines as "used". Your buyer was within their rights to file a not as described claim on the basis of this discrepancy.

I'm sorry you had to find this out the hard way.

One of eBay's goals is to please sellers and customers alike and to make money. They're a private company, not a democractic country. Nothing anyone says will make them think revealing a customer's real name and city of residence is a good idea.

You've broken a bond of trust. I'm sorry you don't see that.

And it works both ways. This buyer can’t post a rant on the eBay discussion boards naming a seller who, in their opinion, tried to cheat them.

its what e bay did that is the real issue of which you do not know .

you talk about a bond of trust ! the buyer broke the bond , not i .
