Ebay interfering with return

Buyer receives the item damaged and initiates a return on ebay. Photos provided confirm damage and also show the apology note from the USPS.

Four options exist:

Accept Return

Full Refund

Partial Refund

Send buyer a message

I clicked the last one and suggested to the buyer that I would send a replacement for no cost and no need to return the defective one.  Buyer is very happy since he really wants the item.  I have sent the replacement, but it will take another week to get to the buyer.

Now ebay is nagging me to request they step in and mediate.

How do I make ebay stop interfering with this transaction? Are they going to give me a defect?

Ebay interfering with return

No.

Did you send the Message within the Dispute?

If not eBay may not have seen it.

EBay does tend to nag, but if the buyer does not escalate to a Claim, the Dispute dies a natural death. Eventually.

You did send the replacement with tracking, I hope?
