So last September my original account was banned because the account was made when I was 17. I had 4000 Canadian dollars in my available funds, it's a very large amount of money for me. I tried contacting eBay and they told me my money would follow the escheatment process which would take 6 months roughly. After that period of time had passed in March, I called my local unclaimed property society to get my funds back and they told me that eBay never sends them any funds. This is when i got a little worried so i contacted ebay via their online chat. I tried asking them about what i should do next countless times and every time they would throw a copy and pasted message about the escheatment process timeline to me and then end the chat after telling me there's nothing they could do for me. They didn't let me talk to their manager either after stating how serious the issue is; how important this money is to me. A few weeks ago by accident, i found out that there is actually a phoning option to call ebay (apparently my original account was restricted from this service) so i created this new account to have them call me. First call went smoothly, i explained my situation to the customer service lady and she told me to expect an email in the following 24-72 hours. I waited a whole week and received absolutely nothing. I called again a week days ago and patiently explained everything again to another customer service agent, he told me to wait on the line as he is going to escalate this case to his manager. I stayed on the line for 30minutes and he came back telling me his manager has noticed it and told me to expect an email within 24hours. Ironically it's been a week since that call and i still received zero updates. Right now im just super furious at how ebay is treating my case. Just for the record my original account before being banned for underage creation of account, i had 50 reviews and all of them were super positive comments from both the buyers and the sellers that ive done business with, and I've also paid a few hundred CAD in ebay selling fees. I'm just disappointed and desperate to get my money back at this point. I will be calling their customer service again tomorrow but just wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions, any help is greatly appreciated. Please...

I hope you got this figured out by now. I would say keep proof of everything, screen shots and photos of everything you can. Even try to record the phone conversations you are having. Threaten to sue them if they don't give you what is rightfully yours in a timely manner and if you don't, go speak to a lawyer. And when you get your money back, remember this experience and never use Ebay again. Stick with anyone else. They are now known for their treatment, and not to be touched with a 10-foot pole.

and you post to this old thread, why?...just so you could do a post and run comment about how dissatisfied YOU are with eBay?? and that your advice/answer for everything is using that great over-used USA threat tactic word "sue"; when in fact you better have very deep pockets if you want to pursue a lawsuit against anyone, let alone eBay!
