Appears Ebay no longer wants images in descriptions as the mess up mobile devices.
Inkfrog and Auctiva may become obsolete
What are people going ro do with say, large collections of stamps and they can't use 100/s of pictures?
Part of the click to view description Ebay is testing
How long before they only allow 12 pictures and nothing in the description at all?
Will we be able to have a picture with a link to other pictures hosted on photo bucket?
When you think about it a lot of sites will not allow HTML in descriptions.
And it is not even the Spring update yet or will this be one of the new and improved policies coming?

Hi Dutchman!
This has been the case I believe for a long time. It doesn't look like they are saying we can't just that they don't render properly (the ones of mine I've tested don't show up on older phones, they are just blanks, however they do show up on newer phones).
My belief is that this is an older notification from the days of older phones, but that could be mistaken.
I have been dwindling the number of items I have using embedded pictures, there are reasons why I want them in the lots that remain, so I'll have to watch what happens with this..... THX for raising it!!!

"While your listing may include photos embedded in the item description area, these may not render properly across every mobile device platform."
Where does it suggest it may no longer be allowed in description?
Stamp dealers specifically often use a large number of images in the description section of a listing when offering a collection.

I did not say it is not allowed, but I suspect in the future that may change
