Fake email asking for status of a refund

Just got an email .... with

buyer's first name... eBay's listing ID number... and asking for status of a refund.

The listing ID number is clickable  and takes you to a page where you have to log onto eBay.

This login page  is most likely fake  where the person that sent the email gets your password

Verifying ID Number... do not access eBay through the ID number in the email

Copy down the ID Number... go to eBay  and confirm that the number is real....  My number was fake

If you have clicked onto the ID number in the email  and then logged onto eBay...

Immediately change your eBay password....            The login through the email was most likely fake.....

Do not click anything in the email
